We may welcome ONE adult dog or ONE INDOOR cat at a small additional charge of £40 per week or stay if less than a week. This is to cover the extra cleaning and laundry costs incurred. However, we ask for an additional £125 as a good pet housekeeping deposit payable BEFORE booking so please speak to us.
We do not usually accept dogs under 1 year of age. However, please discuss before booking.
Less than 10% of our visitors bring a dog so we have to respect the wishes of our other visitors who feel happy knowing that a dog has not been in their bedroom. However there is a landing just outside where it’s the perfect place for a dog bed.
We also ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in the cottage or garden. He/she may feel stressed in unfamiliar surroundings and bark thereby disturbing our neighbours.
The Wainhouse Tavern next door is dog friendly
A list of pet sitters can be provided but these have not been checked out. We ask that you remove all trace of your dog at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will result in non return of your loss/damage deposit proportionate to the impact on staff and future guests.
