Come to Calderdale! Holiday in Halifax! We are Good to Go and welcome holiday guests to stay in a beautifully presented cottage near Wainhouse Tower. Originally a 17c farmhouse, it was split into 5 cottages which were rented by Miss Wainhouse to Master Dyers at the dyehouse, formerly across the road, which was owned by the Wainhouse family. The cottages were bought from the estate of JE Wainhouse by James Kenyon 1843-1915 who started life in what is now Dyer’s Cottage and his descendants have kept it in family ownership to this day.
